Michael Keaton, an American actor and director best famous for Birdman. A versatile actor, he can perform both dramatic and comedic characters. He has also portrayed some romantic characters as well as appeared in several action thrillers in his career. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in both acting as well as performing. Later, as a youngster, he attempted stand-up humor. Although his comedy career was not successful however, it served as the basis for his career as an actor. He was unable to achieve fame as a comedian and the next step was to become a cameraman at an online cable channel. In the course of his work, he came to discover that he wanted to be on camera. A television role was secured and he appeared on several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. A natural actor, he was quickly a hit on TV. His comedic performances brought him fame and he embarked upon the career of a filmmaker who had high hopes. His career was further enhanced when he won acclaim for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As a mature actor, He also started to move into producing and directing.
